The Order Builder and Quality Specialist role is responsible for palletizing customer orders for loading onto delivery trucks and placing all orders in proper sequence for loading. The incumbent will be responsible for loading all pallets using scanner equipment at a required rate to meet dispatch schedule. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring that products that are packaged are in top quality condition. They are accountable for informing the Shift Supervisor or Plant Manager when production problems arise. They are also responsible for keeping on-coming operators informed on current status of order building and quality of products.

We are currently seeking a Device Recovery Specialist for our central recovery and processing facility located in Brampton, Ontario.


The Device Recovery Specialist will be responsible for receiving shipments from multiple recovery facilities, sorting and inventorying recovered devices, and shipping specific devices to our purchasing customers.  This person will need to be able to clearly and cleanly identify specific list numbers of surgical devices and sort them accordingly.  Attention to detail is required in this job.  The ideal candidate will have computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office products and does not have problem with working around used medical devices for the purpose of remanufacturing or reprocessing.


The Device Recovery Specialists will report directly to the Operations Supervisor.

  • Receive and catalog shipments from regional plants
  • Identify and sort medical and surgical devices by individual list numbers
  • Quantify like types of devices and input into centralized database
  • Clean devices when required
  • Inventory devices
  • Pull inventoried products by list number and prepare shipments to customers
  • Input data and provide feedback to Plant Managers and Sales Managers
  • Provide suggested improvements to the medical device recovery process
  • Lead and manage people and processes



  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience working in surgical or laboratory environments
  • Solid work references and good attendance history
  • Honest & reliable
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  •  Attention to detail
  • “Can do” attitude
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays or flex hours as needed by production demands
  • Ability to use technology (Microsoft Office Products, Skype, etc)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of BBP and PPE

Physical Requirements:


  • Occasionally working in confined spaces 
  • Extensive lifting, walking, bending, and pushing. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds 
  • Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning while lifting weights of less than fifty (50) pounds
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Repetitive sorting and counting of medical and surgical devices
  • Working with specialized safety gear (scrubs, glasses, surgical masks, gloves, etc)
