Our business is growing and expanding rapidly in the US which has created the need to introduce a new position into our organization- Director, GPO & National Key Accounts.
Ideally based in Chicago, with significant travel, the Director, GPO & National Key Accounts will manage the overall relationship, strategic sales activity and bid process with strategic National Accounts & Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO). The successful candidate will build relationships with existing and prospective strategic National Accounts & GPOs C suite members, whilst also providing leadership regarding strategic National Account & GPO strategies to Daniels Health Leadership and Sales Teams.
The core focus of the Director, GPO & National Key Accounts is ultimately retention, upselling and contract optimization and negotiation to build our market presence. With no formal direct reports initially you will educate, influence and mentor a workforce of sales professionals across the country. This challenging position will suit an enthusiastic, customer centric, sales professional with at least 5 years of experience working with GPO’s and Key Accounts (Nationally or locally). Ideally you will hold a degree within a related discipline; Business, Health or Applied Science. Your strong negotiation and influencing skills, interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to drive outcomes are essential qualities required for this role.
